The Sacrament of Marriage is a lifelong commitment that honors the husband and wife as heads of the family, the basic unit of society. It salutes the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice, and joy in daily, married life.
The Sacrament of Marriage focuses on building a culture of life and love that begins with supporting and promoting marriage and the family. It also indicates the personal self-gift of each spouse, one to the other. These concepts point to Christ who gives Himself under the appearance of bread and wine - as real flesh and blood.
Archdiocesan guidelines stipulate a process of preparation that may require a year or more to complete. Prior to setting a wedding date, contact Cathy in the parish office.
