THURSDAY, AUG. 13

• 4:45 pm: Tent & booth set-up begins

FRIDAY, AUG. 14

• All-day: Food prep and booth set-up

SATURDAY, AUG. 15

• 4 pm: Outdoor Polka Mass 
• 5 pm: FESTIVITIES OPEN including food, games, bake sale, crafts & quilts booth, and more!
• 5:15 pm: Chuck Thiel and the Jolly Ramblers
• 7-10 pm: JAM with our DJ 

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16

• 10 am: ALL FESTIVITIES OPEN including Sunday-only events like our famous Chicken Plop game and popular kid's Prize Tree.
• 10:30 am: Bob the Beachcomber
• 12:30 pm: Czech Area Concertina Club Band 
• 3 pm: Silent Auction ends
• 3:30 pm: Live Quilt Auction - Quilts are donated for this event.
• 4:15 pm: Kiss the Pig Results! Find our which of our lucky contestants has to kiss the pig! (Voting ends at 3:45 pm)
• 4:30 pm: CASH raffles, VACATION raffle, QUILT raffle, CHEER raffle, & WINE raffle drawings! Find out who our big winners will be!
• 5 pm: Grounds clean-up and booth take-down - All parishioners are encouraged to stay & help!

Monday, AUGUST 17

• 9 am: Social Center & groups clean-up
• 4:45 pm: Tent take-down
• Help with the final clean up of the grounds and social center. Come as you are available throughout the day.

No need to worry about running out of cash! We have a cash machine available onsite. Find it under the main tent by the SJA booth.

Please note: There is an ATM fee. You may also have additional transaction fees from your bank that are automatically applied.

JACS JAM is our re-envisioned UNITED annual parish festival that happens on the third Sunday of August, although events occur on Saturday and Sunday of that weekend.

JACS = Joachim and Anne Church and School
JAM = Julifest And Marystown! (Our respective previous festival names.)

Instead of two festivals only a few weeks apart, both requiring hundreds of volunteers and thousands of volunteer hours, we joined forces in 2019 for the most FUN, FAMILY-friendly, FAITH-fortifying FESTIVAL! If you have been around Shakopee and Marystown for a while, "do not be afraid," many of the events you loved about our two separate parish festivals held at each of the respective churches of St. Mark and St. Mary of the Purification of Marystown, is still happening from the outdoor polka Mass to the famous chicken plop game. Watch this page for details on this year's events and schedule. We'll see you in August!
